Oh hello again friends!
In a recent post, I mentioned wanting to explain our "why." Why we do what we do, what motivates us, and what the drive is behind our seemly courageous (some might say dumb) decisions.
First of all, if you have not watched Simon Sinek's Ted Talk titled, "How Great Leaders Inspire Action," that was a life-changing talk for both me and Bret. I'm linking it HERE so you can experience it for yourself.
If I had to sum it up, I would say that what motivates us is people. Helping people, inspiring people, teaching people, building relationships, learning from others...
One late summer evening this past year, Bret and I sat down at our fire pit (after the kids were asleep) and brainstormed words and phrases that we felt described our business or how we wanted to be known. Once we got rolling, it became a flurry of similar heart-felt phases that to this day describe what we want our business to look like. They were words like, "integrity," "kind-hearted," and "personable."
As for what inspired our move to Texas, that will be unfolding in the coming posts.
On Tuesday's post we'll be able to show before/after pictures of the McCabe house!! Oooooh I'm so excited for that one!
SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY, Happy weekend!
